If you think LEGO is for kids and a passing fancy for adults, think again. Like all kids, Jonas Kramm also started out with LEGO bricks, but got so hooked to them that he didn’t let go of it even in adulthood! Such was his fascination for these amazing building bricks that his hobby became his passion.

This 23-year-old German, who calls himself a brick artist, is thrilling the masses with his outstanding LEGO work that has to be seen to be believed. Jonas explains mochub, “As a kid, I started building with LEGO, but instead of giving it up, the hobby became even stronger. Today, I live my obsession and create detailed LEGO artworks.”

This student of graphic design is a master of LEGO art. And he has been expressing his creativity with LEGO blocks as long as he can remember. “It all started with building official sets, but soon I started to use the bricks for my own creation. Today, I build whatever I want ranging from scenes of my favorite movies, TV series and video games from my own imagination.” Jonas told AwesomeByte.

LEGO bricks motivate Kramm and prompt him to display the extraordinary things that can be achieved with the given elements. This is why he only uses official LEGO bricks. He has created scenes from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, Zelda, StarCraft 2, and many more.

This year Kramm focused on two series – the Jurassic Park series and the Game of Thrones series. In the Jurassic Park series, he built 18 models that depicted many iconic scenes from the movie, including a brick-built T-Rex. In the Game of Thrones series, he recreated six castles in the likeness of this TV series. He equipped each LEGO micro castle with a crank that reveals the movements inspired by the show intro when turned.

In his previous work on the Harry Potter movie scene, he built the moving staircase of Hogwarts Castle that actually moves! Then there is his series on Netflix’s ‘Umbrella Academy’ that featured both Cha-Cha and Hazel, the professional time-traveling assassins. There are many more such creations.

This is not all, Kramm also provides an insight into his techniques to his Instagram followers and describes the challenges faced in his unique LEGO art. He also divulges details of the building process and answers queries regarding his art on his Instagram page.
