What can you say of a girl, who is intensely passionate about art of every kind? Who declares, “Sculpting is my passion, painting is my obsession. I add color to everything and make art out of anything. Art is my life and I just might be determined enough, crazy enough, and pray enough to make it in this world.” Art-obsessed is certain to fit the description.
This art-obsessed girl is Taylor Ann Linko, who at her young age is wowing all by her dye painted wedding dresses. She has taken upon herself to not only become an accomplished artist but a successful entrepreneur as well. However, her path to success was strewn with failures and that too in the art department since her high school days.
Facing huge failures in almost all types of arts and crafts in her formative years, Ann eventually graduated from college with a bachelors in Art in ceramics. But this was certainly not her calling. So, she launched a business venture, TaylorAnnArtParty, a professional face painting, and balloon twisting venture based in Long Beach, California. This proved a successful business venture and helped her earn and support her art.
However, when Ann got married, she had to move to San Diego. The art gifts she gave to her wedding guests were appreciated and established her as an artist in her new family. This gave her the confidence she needed. She started selling handmade softball and baseball Halloween prosthetics on Etsy. However, this annual business proved a flop.
The turning point in Ann’s life came when the wedding dress she had dye painted to wear for her wedding was put up on the internet by someone and in no time it became viral. And she had thought she won’t even be able to re-sell it.
According to her, millions saw it on a major online gossip blog and thousands searched and found her. Since then, there has been no looking back for her. Her hands are full in meeting painted wedding dress orders of her eager customers.
