Unique Technique That Allows Photos To Be Printed Directly On Wood

Framing photos is passé, what’s fast catching the imagination of the public is printing photos directly on the wood. Surprised? Well, it’s thanks to Colleen Ross, who has come up with the idea of directly printing the photos on wood for a stunning, rustic look.

The technique developed by Ross allows the photos to be reproduced directly on a piece of wood in such a way that it becomes an integral part of the wood itself. A home adorned with memorable photos printed on rustic round basswood instantly sets one on a nostalgic trip, once again letting them live the lovely memories of yesteryears.

Ross has an Etsy shop by the name woodphotos.com. Anyone desirous of preserving their favorite photos for eternity can submit them on the website and woodphotos.com will “turn your memories into something spectacular”! The owner claims to be the original creator of photos on rustic round basswood. The website confidently claims that their technique is “often imitated, but never duplicated”!

It all began in 2014, when Ross established her woodphotos.com business in Fishersville in Virginia, USA. To make the photos one-of-a-kind, she put in efforts to hone her unique skill of printing photos directly on the wood. And she did all this right out of her home. This hard work helped her establish her business. Today, her top of the line production method guarantees that each customer receives the very best results for the photos they provide.

The wood photo offers a wide variety of listings for its custom handmade photos on wood. Customers can order their choice of listing. What’s more, the company offers free domestic shipping on most orders.
