She has a full range of work available that gives insight into different aspects of her practice. The playful aspect of her work is a juxtaposition to the technical brilliance evident throughout.
Working as a professional painter herself, Christiane painted many commissioned pieces, including many reproductions. In this day and age, meaningful messages with a more female perspective are how her artwork stands out. When she’s able to infuse the stories of her models into her artwork, that’s when she creates the most memorable pieces. Sharing the diverse stories of her models is her main driver to create her art.
Christiane Vleugels has been a contemporary painter for over 20 years. In her art, one senses serenity and romanticism and she carefully chooses subjects that move her. Her art reaches out to people by capturing their emotions and feelings. She loves what she does and once you see several of her pieces, you can definitely feel it in her work
Christiane has painted sceneries, male as well as female portraits, nude and semi-nude paintings, and more. Her paintings are distinguished by their clarity of light and color.
