This Visual Artist Uses Lego Pieces To Create Amazing Pop Art

We all have probably grown up playing with Lego bricks, making angular objects, animals, cars, machines and what have you. This passing fancy usually dies down after we overgrow it. But, it seems some of us don’t!

Meet Jaime Sánchez who has taken Lego to the next level. This art director, the visual artist and photographer from Málaga (Spain), currently based in New York, no longer makes things out of Lego bricks but uses them most innovatively to create colourful photography in pop art style.

Sánchez gets his inspiration from Lego bricks for his pop art images that he defines as, “visual art with a pop art style”. Two of his most popular works are the Lego food and Minimal Lego.

He has to his credit the colourful editorial campaigns for leading international brands, such as Cavallini, Emilio, Happy Socks, Lazy Oaf, Nissan, Skinnydip London and many more.

Not only is Sánchez popular on the social media and the internet, his works have also been published in Photoshop Creative Magazine of UK, Mashable, Fubiz, RTVE.ES, Domestika, Ballpitmag, etc. Currently, he works for a creative and design agency, Argento SC.

Sánchez is certainly a gifted visualizer, whose Lego brick creations floor us with their simplicity and novelty.
