Adorable Kittens Owned By This Woman Look Like The Cast Of A Disney Animated Movie Of The 70s

Ever heard of ‘The Aristocats’? Yes, the 1970 animated movie, produced by Walt Disney, that revolves around the family of Aristocats kittens. And now if we were to tell you that the animated cats of Aristocats Disney have turned real, would you believe it? Probably no.

But, here’s one cat that was found by Shelby Sewell-Lopez of East Texas in 2018 in a very poor state. The cat was frail with hair falling out. She also suffering from hernia and was afflicted with every conceivable parasite. Shelby was so moved by her plight that she adopted her.

Says Shelby, “Through all of the rehabilitating, she kept her calm demeanor and a beautiful cat emerged. She’s unbothered by everything except the vacuum cleaner!”

Shelby’s cat resembled Duchess, one of the main Aristocats characters in the said Disney movie, and she named her so. And, boy, did she live up to her name! One day Duchess went missing and Shelby found her in the closet with something that appeared like a mouse. Only it wasn’t a mouse, but Duchess’ newborn kitten. This was not all…three more were to follow!

The uncanny resemblance of these three kittens to those of Aristocats cast compelled Shelby to name them as Berlioz, Marie, and Toulouse, the Aristocats cat names in the movie. However, the birthing story did not end here, when Duchess decided to deliver one last kitten. Shelby named her Blue.

Duchess’ dismal past had not dulled her motherly instincts and she takes extraordinary care of her kittens, never leaving their side. Even when the kittens grew up and started to explore, Duchess made it a point to accompany them everywhere. Now Shelby lives with her Aristocats in real life in her home, despite her husband’s reservations! These cats are truly recreating Aristocats history.
