This Artist Helps In Transforming Your Adorable Pet Into A Pokémon Card

If you were into Pokémon games in the 1990s, you’d certainly be aware of Pokémon Trading Card Game cards that had caught the imagination of gamers. These Pokémon cards were launched in October 1996. Such was their popularity that by the end of March 2019, a whopping 27.2 billion have been sold worldwide.

This wave of popularity inspired many people and one of them was an Italy-based Brazilian artist, Stephanie Parcus. She gave these trading cards a unique twist by transforming any pet into a Pokémon card. Such is the beauty of her unique cards that you just cannot help but get attracted to them.

What’s more, you can get your pet, depicted in a pet like Pokémon cards, to become a full-fledged member of the iconic Pokémon universe. These pet Pokémon cards can also be customized by providing an image of your pet in the mood you want to be captured.

Stephanie or Steph, as she likes to be called, was keen on creating pretty things since her childhood that was spent in Brazil. Her staple diet was cartoons and her inspiration was different forms of art. When she was only 10, she moved to Italy and discovered Anime and Manga.

It was at this time that Steph got introduced to digital art that ignited her creativity to create whatever she could imagine. Although she dreamt of becoming a Pokémon trainer, since she loved her dog, named Fly, she went on to become a vet. After she graduated, she married an American and settled in Perugia, Italy, where she runs a farm holiday house and yoga retreat.

However, creating Pokémon cards is what gives Steph the most satisfaction. And this will continue to remain an indispensable part of her life. She is gaining popularity on the internet and you can buy her Pokémon pet cards from her Etsy shop.
