Real jewelry is what every woman really cherishes. But here’s a jewelry designer who creates beautiful jewelry pieces with the wire that is so meticulously made they look absolutely stunning. She’s Anastasiya Ivanova, who was born in 1983 and lives in Novosibirsk, Russia.
This self-taught artist, an expert in applied art, employs a combination of wire wrap and cold forging techniques. And she’s an expert in creating her works from a range of metals, such as copper, brass, silver, nickel, and titanium. She uses both wires and sheets of these metals. To further enhance their beauty, she embellishes her creations with both semi-precious and precious stones, such as agate, chalcedony, labradorite, lapis lazuli, olivine, pearl, quartz, rhodochrosite, topaz, zircon and many more.
Ivanova’s work involves patination and polishing certain elements of her pieces to enhance their beauty and depth. Her creations are available in both glossy and matte finish and include pendants, necklaces, hairpins, brooches and even frames for reading glasses. Her handcrafted complex creations are wonderfully balanced and are one-of-a-kind, making each piece a collectors’ item.
Ivanova states in her online Etsy shop, “I design and create my own jewelry myself…from beginning to end. My hindsight is the uniqueness of my creations – all jewelry is created in a single copy. You can be sure you will not find a second one! If you want something special, unique…stay tuned!”
In addition to Etsy, Ivanova’s full range of jewelry pieces are displayed on Pinterest, DeviantArt, and Instagram.
