Canadian Photographer Blends Vibrant Colors To Create Bubbly Art

Ever seen cans of different colored paints spill and merge to form colorful patterns? This is what Seb Duke’s art actually is all about. However, it’s the vibrant colors that he chooses to blend is what makes him an outstanding artist.

This fine art photographer based in Toronto, Canada, is an expert at blending different liquids together to create vibrant and bubbly microcosms. He fondly terms his art as ‘Bubble Imaginarium’. Combining proprietary compounds and raw materials with an organic base, he creates his trademark mini universes of bubbly life. He captures these designs by means of a macro lens and turns them into vivid art prints.

Though Duke’s bubbly art fascinates, it all started as a fluke! He happened to experiment mixing different liquids together to observe their interactions and was impressed by how they flowed and billowed. Over time, he got obsessed with the infinite variety of patterns and designs that can be created by such blending of colors. This was how ‘The Big in the Small’ was born and there was no looking back.

It may surprise you to know that this photographer started out as a marketing executive after having graduated in English literature. However, bubbly photography had such an influence on him that he left the marketing industry and jumped right into this creative field. For a kid, who was born in Moncton, New Brunswick and spent his childhood in Sherbrook, Quebec, this was certainly a quantum leap.

Duke is now making waves on the internet and showcases his creations on his Instagram page and other websites. He boasts of viewership of over 69,000 on Instagram alone. What’s more, his creations are up for sale and you can buy them for his website, thebiginthesmall.ca. He promises his prints will brighten your walls!
