These Beautiful Resin Jewelry are Inspired from Nature and they are both Unique and Beautiful

You must’ve heard about people working from home, but here’s a jewelry designer, who makes every piece of jewelry not on her working desk at home, but on her kitchen table! And it’s not conventional jewelry that she makes, but one made of resin. Meet Paula of Resity Shop, who creates this incredible jewelry.

Hailing from Sibiu, Romania, this outstanding designer attended High School of Economics, but it was art that held sway over her. Her art journey truly started when she changed tracks to study Graphic Design in an art school, where she was introduced to a variety of media.

Paula’s work with resin started purely as a hobby. The endless possibilities that resin offered made her fall in love with it. Since work with resin is not taught in art schools in Romania, she learned the tricks of the trade all by herself, taking cues from the internet and learning from trial and error. “Working with resin started as a hobby and turned into a business after I rebranded Pau’s Handmade to Resity Shop. I work with botanical elements and I always get inspired by nature.” Paula told AwesomeByte.

Paula – “The Designer”

Paula started making jewelry in right earnest in 2012. In an interview to nunndesign.com, she describes her beginning experiences with resin, thus, “(Resin) is a two-part polymer that requires a lot of precision. I’ve had plenty of failed batches that pushed me to the limit of quitting, but eventually, lessons were learned which helped me create better products.”

Paula started with basic beaded jewelry meant for her own use and that of her parents. This got her the support of the family, who encouraged her to showcase her art to the world. She put up her jewelry on various websites, where it was well received.

Such a positive response to her jewelry prompted Paula to open her Etsy shop. She still fondly remembers her first sale of a pair of earrings to someone “from the other side of the world”. According to her, it was the best feeling and encouraged her to continue with her shop.
