The Bizarre Creations Of This French Global Communication Agency Makes Waves On The Internet

There are thousands of creative agencies across the globe that distinguish themselves by creating unique artwork in their attempt to show their graphics capabilities. Here’s is one creative agency that has pushed the envelope in creating bizarre, but at the same time, delightful works of art.

Known as Les Créatonautes, this French global communication agency has been attracting attention by its unique brand of photo manipulations of everyday objects and creatures. One look at these creations conveys why the absolutely improbable graphic compositions of this Strasbourg-based French agency is making viewers sit up and take notice.

What the creatives of this agency do is to pair up two improbable items, animals, birds, buildings, monuments and what-have-you to create something really unimagined. Take for example a parakeet merged into a banana or an octopus holding the dome and minaret-tops of the Taj Mahal…their creations are endless, but delight all the same.

For all its bizarreness and craziness, the creatives showcase not only their fertile imagination and visualization but also their technical and graphic skills in their creative outpourings. Although mixing and blending two different objects is not a unique concept, the way these creatives choose their subjects and the way these are merged is certainly one of its kind.

Les Créatonautes was established in 2009 and its current stewardship is in the hands of Olivier Grossmann and Gauvain Ramis. The agency works both with communities and the private sector for print and web media. It has four collaborators. In 2016, the agency joined the UCC Grand Est and also the union comprising 16 other member agencies.

Says Ramis, “We’re often in competition with each other, but we’re all part of one and the same family, that of Alsatian Communication. In a family, it’s important to meet regularly to share and build beautiful joint projects. This is the meaning of our commitment within the UCC Grand Est.”

Currently, the accounts in Créatonautes’ kitty include Alsace Region, ADIRA, CCI Alsace, CCI of Colmar, Difac, GMS, Hilzinger, Paulmann, Phytodia Laboratories, SMCTOM of Central Alsace, TOE Concept, and many more.

It comes as no surprise that Créatonautes enjoys a growing viewership of over 44,000 followers on Instagram.
