Nicki Minaj Secret Funding Helps Develop This Indian Village for its Overall Development

Western celebrity singers are known for asking ridiculous sums of money for live performances. But, do you know that one world famous celebrity singer, Nicki Minaj, has actually been secretly funding a village in India for the welfare of the villagers and for its overall development.

American rapper Nicki Minaj of the famous ‘Ananconda’ number made this revelation through an Instagram post, without naming the village. According to her, this secret contribution had been going on for quite a few years. It has resulted in setting up in the village a computer center, a tailoring institute, a reading program and two water wells for providing clean water to the residents.

Nicki’s Instagram post comprised a video that showed an Indian man along with several village women standing beside a newly installed hand pump. Although the man in the video does not name Nicki Minaj, he is seen thanking several people and some organization. By the look of the villagers, it appears to be some village in South India, but nothing can be said with certainty.

Nicki’s caption for the video summed up everything, she said, “We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some (people) don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done.” She had been sending money to this Indian village through her Pastor Lydia Sloley.

In another Instagram post, Nicki elaborated, “This is the kind of thing that makes me feel most proud….I’ll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you’d like to be a part of it.”

Another photo caption read, “I’m so proud of our sisters in India. God is so good. Their desire was to have water wells and places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We’re just getting started. These women are us and we are them.”

That Minaj is capable of doing a thing like this is borne out by the fact that she is known for her charitable nature. She is known to have cleared student loans while connecting with them via Twitter.
