Amazingly Realistic Portraits Makes This Brazilian Oil Painter Popular Online

There are millions of dog lovers in the world, who pamper their pets every which way. Some pamper them with spa and grooming, some by entering them in dog shows, while others exchanging their videos with family and friends.

However, here’s a gifted painter, who expresses his love for dogs by painting them in the most realistic fashion. Meet Marcelo Rochá, a fine art specialist, who excels in oil painting. What sets his dog portraits apart from other artists is the expressions he manages to bring out in the dogs he paints.

The passion for the art of this Brazilian artist came to fore after spending two decades as an MBA in Information Technology Management. Even with his hands full as an information technology executive, he found time to pursue his passion for fine arts, specifically oil painting.

Rochá went on to hone his artistic skills at Pleinair Studio in São Paulo, Brazil. The expertise imparted by this renowned fine arts school is evident in all his works, whether it’s his amazing dog portraits and paintings or his incredible landscapes. He continued to study art and develop his work, even when he shifted his base to New York, USA.

The best part is you can commission a portrait of your pet dog for just $400. Rochá creates dog portraits in oil on a canvas stretched on a wooden frame, which is protected by a varnish coating. His paintings are shipped across the world; in the US they’re shipped for free.
