This Swedish Street Artist Incorporates Pixel Art With Everyday Objects To Create Incredible Works Of Art

You must’ve seen pixilated art in various forms, but Johan Karlgren, a Swedish conceptual and urban street artist, who also goes by the name of Pappas Pärlor, has stepped it up by turning pixilated art into interactive street art. By doing so, he aims to make his surroundings more fun.

Also known for his 8-bit styled pixel art creations, made out of Perler beads, Johan gets his inspiration from pop culture figures and old video games. However, it’s his wild imagination that puts him in a separate league of street artists. He makes efforts to find ways and means to express his art, which is only limited by his imagination.

Whether it’s fencing, traffic signs, pipes, sculptures, or any other object in public places, Johan’s pixilated characters have not left any conceivable place uninvaded in Sweden.
