From grotesque to beautiful is how one can describe Simone Lalwani’s makeup art. What this young makeup artist always attempts is to enhance the natural beauty of her clients to make them look fresh, flawless, and beautiful. And her incredible expertise speaks for itself!
This 21-year-old makeup artist, who was born and brought up in Goa, India, shares this on dyslexiagoa.wordpress.com, “I love people and people love to feel beautiful, which is the reason I’ve decided to choose a career of doing makeup. I believe if you feel comfortable in your skin, then you can spend your energy loving others and enjoying life instead of worrying and being self-conscious…”
Simone studied in Manovikas English Medium School in Margao, Goa, till 10th and continued her education at Lincoln College, UK. Surprisingly, she was a keen footballer, who pursued an extended diploma in sports education in the UK. However, on returning to India, she attended the Fatmu Pro Makeup course in Mumbai and fell in love with makeup art. She completed a course at The London Makeup School, England, and turned professional.
For Simone, this an exciting career and she derives immense pleasure in using makeup to help people look their best or become totally different characters. She has an inbuilt ability to assess her client’s skin type, including coloring, condition, and sensitivity. She also studies her client’s bone structure. This helps her choose the type and colors of makeup to achieve the desired results.
