The Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘Jaws’ and its many sequels have certainly instilled fear of the great white shark in the psyche of the public at large. But that was years ago.
Now here’s an American artist, called Jimmy Swift, who has attempted to rekindle the ‘Jaws’ horror by painting the gigantic great white shark on a rock jutting out of the sea. This stone shark sculpture is located on the Palolem Beach in South Goa, India. What he did was to spray paint the rock to create this creature.
Swift states, “When I first saw this rock, it looked like a perfect place for a great white. It’s truly amazing how mother nature can carve out such a perfect shape.” He adds, “This was the hardest thing I’ve ever painted. I was literally beaten up by the waves and the rising tide and forced to stop before it was finished.”
The great white shark in Goa was painted in March 2015 and since then Swift has returned to retouch the faded shark stone painting. Needless to say, this favorite landmark on the beach beckons tourists to photograph it or take a selfie.

I don t like this painting. The natural rock is more beautiful. Why always wantedto transform everything. Keep the beach natural and beautiful. Stop this kind of paintng. Its not beautiful.
don't worry. they are not permanent. People love that spot for that painting. Colors are not permanent so don't worry about that.
