Says Lozano, “I’ve always tried to do something different, to stand out from other artists, so I remembered working with embroidery and thought I could use it in my new career. I wasn’t the first to start inking people with embroidery tattoos, but I was the first one to make it so realistic, leaving ‘broken’ strings and other imperfections.” By the way, ‘broken’ strings are his signature.

Lozano maintains there are no secrets to his technique, but we know there certainly are And that is his mastery over light and shadow, which makes the tattoo look like a real embroidered patch. Says he, “I’m just at the beginning with this style and my head is bubbling with ideas and soon you’ll have some news.”
