It’d seem that this eggshell artist from Kyiv, Ukraine, would’ve devoted her life in mastering her carving. However, you’d be surprised to know that she took up this passion for eggshell carving at the middling age of 50! She spent the better part of her life as head of the department in a large factory.

It was Dana’s passion that pulled on her heartstrings and egged her to express her creativity using eggs. She started pursuing her talent in right earnest and once she mastered the art of carving eggshells, there was no looking back.

Dana is inspired by nature and what it offers in terms of flora and landscapes. But it’s the eggshell that gives her a really high. Says she, “Just holding an eggshell gives me positive and unusual energy.” Eggshell carving satiates her soul and encourages her to share her creations and eggshell energy with one and all.

Dana’s talent has been internationally recognized and she has been made a member of the World Egg Artists Association. Her works are also displayed in the Egg Art Museum Gallery.
