The Eye Of Agamotto Necklace Is An Indispensable Accessory For Doctor Strange Costume

You’ve got to hand it over to the comic writers and illustrators to create objects of fascination that ignite the imagination of their readers. One such fictional mystical object was displayed in Marvel comics and in the movie, ‘Doctor Strange’ produced by Marvel Cinematic Universe films. This was the Eye of Agamotto.

Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, this amulet first appeared in ‘The Origin of Doctor Strange’ in December 1963, where Doctor Strange wears it on his chest. Their inspiration came from the ‘The All-Seeing Eye of the Buddha’ that protects its wearer against evil. Since then, this item has appeared in various publications featuring Doctor Strange.

This Eye is actually enclosed within the amulet and is exposed from time to time. The Eye contains a Time Stone, one of the infinity stones found in the universe. The Eye enables Doctor Strange to see through all disguises and illusions, witness past events and track both physical and ethereal beings and even probe the minds of others by detecting their psychic or magical emissions, among many other powers.

Now, this Eye is for the asking at Etsy that offers a high-quality replica of an upgraded Eye of Agamotto. It’s an indispensable part of Doctor Strange costume and can be worn around the neck or clasped to the cloak. The Eye is made of metal and comes with a braided necklace. The Eye opens and closes by itself and is illuminated by an LED that can be recharged.
