One of the most difficult tasks a graphic designer may have to undertake is to create a brand logo that gets imprinted on people’s minds to make a lasting impression. Such a logo, along with a tagline, also makes the brand most recognizable. Of this, there are numerous examples, such as the famous brand logos of Nike, McDonald’s, Apple, FedEx, and many more.
Although these popular logos are a product of genius minds, their representation is simple. And one feels certain that nothing can be better than this. Here’s where you may be entirely mistaken!
Meet Rendy Cemix, an Indonesian designer with creativity on an overdrive. He has given a new ‘twist’ to logo designing and his creations are certainly making waves on the social media.
What Cemix does is to combine two vastly different elements to create a single logo that displays the features of both! For example, in one of his works, he has combined the toucan bird with a flame on a matchstick in such a way that the flame becomes the bird’s beak, the blackened head of the matchstick, its eye and the wooden stick of the matchstick, its white feathers. Similarly, he has used a variety of animals, fruits, eatables and everyday objects.
Ceramic’s gift of imagination and visualization has enabled him to create some incredibly creative logos. And these are not only limited to paired elements but also include standard logos. All his works are most apt, minimalist and aesthetically-pleasing that fully represent the brand.
Websites, such as designcrowd.co and others, feature the companies whose logos this creative designer has designed. It is no surprise that Cemix enjoys a fan following of over 11,000 on Instagram alone, where most of his paired creations logos are also featured.
