Ana’s Illusion Body Art Is Something Totally Unique

What do you think of this body artist, who describes herself as creative, silly, cheerful, but also strange, creepy and scary? Most unusual, you’d say. And how right you are! This remarkable body artist is Ana, who identifies herself on social media as Cedoviste. She chose Cedoviste for the simple reason she wanted to be something different. And Cedoviste, which is a combination of two words – čedo meaning kid or child and čudoviše means monster, served the purpose.

Living in Montenegro, a small country on the Balkans (former Yugoslavia), there was no way Ana could’ve picked up body art there since there were hardly any professionals in this field in her city of 660,000. She’s completely self-taught in body art and pursues her passion as a hobby, while her full-time job is in HR. And, according to her, her hobby takes as much time as her full-time job!

So, how did Ana come across body art and illusion makeup? Although she was a gifted artist, she never took it up seriously. But creating transformations was a different ball game altogether. She took it up as a challenge and honed her skills by devoting full time and efforts to it. The reward for her painstaking efforts is her ability to make her viewers think.

Ana’s favorite is illusion makeup body art. The reactions it elicits from viewers is immensely gratifying for her. She also focuses on creating different characters for the Halloween season.
