Although the scenes depicted in his illustrations are from the ordinary world, but the little animals that include pets, such as cats and dogs, and wild animals, like raccoons, rabbits, owls, etc. are created of enormous proportions. Despite their mammoth sizes, the animals are not intimidating at all, rather they’re soft, cuddly and peaceful.
This Japanese artist is certainly a recluse and doesn’t reveal his identity in any of his works on websites, such as Tumblr and Pixiv. Such is his selfish zeal to protect his identity that he not only denies interviews but also cancels orders of individuals who try to pry into his personal life. This mystery adds to the allure of his creations.
Despite his anonymity, all his works are listed in a book titled ‘Magalophilia’, available on Amazon Japan. Leafing through this book, you will not only get introduced to his enchanting world but the incredible atmosphere he creates in all his illustrations. The best part is this enchanting world is staged in a familiar setting of landscapes, countryside, cities, and even famous historical monuments. This helps the viewer to totally identify with Ariduka55’s creations.
The imposing size of the animals depicted in his illustrations is all shown with soft demeanors that are commonly found in pets when they are relaxing or are in a playful mood. All these animals are also filled with all kinds of emotions to stimulate the imagination of viewers and prompt them to interpret what they see in their own different ways.
