Water Art And Other Creations Of This Artist Are Being Lapped Up On The Internet

The works of Aravis Dolmenna literally ooze creativity. This is because her compositions use fluids and liquids of all kinds. This has helped her build a unique brand identity that people immediately recognize. What’s great about her creations is the diversity it displays.

Dolmenna from the very beginning was very passionate about drawing and painting. When she became a mother, she taught her son to enjoy all kinds of art, which, for her, not only included painting and drawing but also cooking, sewing, gardening and anything that satisfied her soul.

It was Dolmenna’s son who introduced her to Instagram, which enabled her to discover the world of galleries with daily prompts and her artistic creativity was reawakened. She used to take the day’s prompt as a challenge to come up with the most unexpected interpretation. This encouraged her to post more and more of her own ideas, relying less on prompts.

Dolmenna delves in a number of mediums to express her creativity. She uses paints, colored cards, and modeling clay, and any other item lying around that she can lay her hands on. She finds reusing and adapting makes her more inventive. So, what are her favorite images? Says she, “I’m probably most proud of my ‘water art’ images because they’re very individual.”

Dolmenna’s water art was telecast on TV in Japan, published in the Huffington Post and Indian newspapers, and written about in French magazines. Not only this, but she was also commissioned by a Columbian wine tour company and an Italian coffee writer.

Like writers’ block, Dolmenna also experiences times when inspiration doesn’t strike her. She counters it by not forcing things, but taking her time and waiting for the creative ideas to strike. Her current focus is on the shape and how the shape of one object mimics another.
